Time for Gefle Mixed Doubles Cup
On Friday, 11 AM, starts this years international curling tournament, Gefle Mixed Doubles Cup, in our rink at Testebovallen, Gävle. 10 teams, five nationalities and a a lot of skills!
Fjolårets vinnare Skaslien/Nedregotten, Norge, kan tyvärr int försvara sin titel från förra året eftersom norska mästerskapen ligger samtidigt. Det betyder att vi kommer att få nya champions i år.
After some late negative respons from a few teams there will be 10 teams from 5 countrys competing. Including the swedish champions Simon Granbom/Isabell Andersson, together with a few high ranked european teams.
"We are looking forward to a new great tournament with high quality teams in the field. The ice is well prepared and we got the SCF stones in that will give the best conditions for the play." says Lennart Karlsson, Tournament Director.
The first draw starts Fridag at 11 AM with finals starting Sunday at 12 AM. Welcome to see great curling during the weekend. The café is open.
